When to use this
Few markets: Your self-service portal only serves one or a few markets, for example only the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Fewer mistakes: You want to stop customers from picking the wrong country or scrolling through a very long list.
How to limit the Country selector
Step 1: Open the flow settings
Go to Manage flow for the specific flow your portal uses, for example "Retail, Warranty claim".
Open the Return policies tab.
Step 2: Turn on "Only allow submissions from added regions"
Make sure Return policies is enabled (toggle ON).
Enable Only allow submissions from added regions (toggle ON).
This limits the Country selector to the countries and regions you have added in your Return Policy setup, instead of showing all countries.
Step 3: Add the regions you want to allow
In the same flow, open your Return policies configuration.
For each relevant policy, add the regions or countries you want customers to submit from, for example "United Kingdom" and "Ireland".
Remove any "Rest of world" type region selections if you want the list to stay short. Otherwise all countries will still be allowed and shown.
Step 4: Test the portal
Open the portal link in an incognito or private window.
Go to the step where Country is shown.
Confirm the dropdown only contains the countries you intended.
Notes and expected behavior
Country known from the order: If the order flow can determine the customer's country from the order or integration, the Country selector may be skipped entirely.
Country not known: If the system cannot determine the country, for example in a search flow or when the order has no country, the selector is shown, but only with your allowed regions.
List still shows every country: Check that no policy in the flow includes a "Rest of world" type region, since that allows all countries.
