Manage the branding of a customer self-service portal

Branding is managed through global Appearance settings at the company level, and then applied to one or more portals/flows. This makes it easy to keep a consistent look across multiple portals.

Where to find global Appearance settings

Go to: Company settings → Advanced settings → Appearance settings.

What you can customize

  • Logo (shown at the top of the portal)

  • Background image

  • Colors (buttons, backgrounds, tile backgrounds)

  • Fonts

  • Favicon (browser tab icon)

How to enable Appearance settings on a portal/flow

  1. Open the portal/flow you want to update.

  2. Go to the portal/flow’s Appearance / Branding section.

  3. Select or enable Use company Appearance settings (or similar wording).

  4. Save changes and refresh the portal to verify.

Using multiple Appearance templates (for different brands)

If you operate multiple brands (e.g., different brand sites under the same company), you can maintain different appearance setups by creating separate portals/flows per brand and applying different appearance configurations/templates to each brand experience.

If you can’t access these settings

If you don’t see tiles or appearance settings, your user role may not have permission. Ask your portal admin to grant access, or contact Claimlane to help update it.
