Before you start, ask your Claimlane contact for a Client ID and Client Secret. You'll need them in Step 3.
You'll also need:
Admin access to your Claimlane company settings
Permission to install apps on the Shopify store you're connecting
Step 1: Open Integrations in Claimlane
Navigate to your company space in Claimlane.
Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar menu and click Integrations.
Step 2: Start the Shopify connection
Click Connect Shopify store.
Step 3: Enter your Client ID and Client Secret
Paste the Client ID and Client Secret shared with you by your Claimlane contact.
Click Next.
Step 4: Enter your Shopify domain
Enter your Shopify domain (do not include https://) along with the link provided by your Claimlane contact.
Step 5: Install the app in Shopify
Click Install App.
Make sure you're logged into the Shopify store you want to connect, and that your account has permission to install apps. {% endhint %}
Click Install.
Once installed, you'll see a confirmation that the app is set up. You can close this tab — you still need to generate a token, which happens back in Claimlane.
Step 6: Generate your Shopify token
In Claimlane, click Connect to Shopify.
You should now see a Shopify token displayed.
Step 7: Share the token with Claimlane
Once you have your token, share it with Claimlane using the Share secrets feature in your company settings:
Open Company settings — either from the settings menu, or by clicking the four-square app switcher icon in your email and selecting Manage company.
Find the Share secrets option.
Paste in your token, and indicate which store it relates to.
Submit. Once submitted, the field will appear blank — this is expected. Only a Claimlane admin can reveal the value.
You can submit as many secrets as needed if you're connecting multiple stores; just label each one with its store name.
Once you've entered the token, let your Claimlane contact know — they'll take it from there to finish connecting your store.
