Claimlane is running slowly: what to check and how to report it

What to check when Claimlane feels slow, and what details to include when reporting it to support.

What can cause slowness?

Slowness is usually caused by one of a few things: a slow or unstable internet connection, an outdated or overloaded browser, a large number of tickets or a wide date range loaded on one screen, or a temporary spike in load. It is rare for this to affect every user in your organization at the same time, so the first useful step is figuring out whether it is just you, or your whole team.

How to troubleshoot slowness

  1. Check if it happens to just you or to your whole team. If only one person is affected, the cause is more likely local (their device, browser, or network).

  2. Try a different browser or an incognito/private window. This rules out a browser extension or a corrupted local cache as the cause.

  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies for Claimlane, then reload the page.

  4. Narrow any filters or date ranges you have applied in the inbox or analytics views. Loading a very large number of tickets or a very wide date range at once can slow down rendering.

  5. Check your internet connection speed and stability, especially if you are on a shared office network or VPN.

  6. If the slowness started right after a specific action (uploading a large file, running a bulk export, or applying a new filter), note that action, since it helps narrow down the cause.

Tips

  • Note the exact time: If you report an issue, include the date and time (with timezone) it happened, since this helps us check logs for that specific period.

  • One user or everyone: Always mention whether the slowness affects one person or your whole team, this is one of the fastest ways to narrow down the cause.

  • Screenshots help: A screenshot or short screen recording of the slow page, along with your browser and operating system, helps our team reproduce the issue faster.
