I want to return an item or file a claim. Why can't Claimlane help me?

Claimlane doesn't sell products or handle claims. Find out who to contact to return an item, get a refund, file a claim, or fix "item not found" in a claims portal.

Short answer: Claimlane is not a webshop, store or brand. We don't sell products, so we can't accept returns, handle refunds, or approve or reject claims. Please contact the company you bought the product from.

What is Claimlane?

Claimlane makes claims management software. Retailers, brands and suppliers use it to handle returns, complaints and warranty claims from their customers.

If you filed a claim through a claims portal, you were most likely using a Claimlane-powered portal. The company that runs that portal owns your case. Claimlane only supplies the system behind it.

What Claimlane support can't do

Claimlane support has no access to your order and no say in your case. We can't:

  • Accept a return or issue a refund

  • Approve, reject or change a claim

  • Look up your order, invoice or delivery note

  • Add missing products to a company's portal

  • Contact the seller or supplier for you

What to do instead

If you're a consumer

Contact the webshop or store you bought the product from. Their contact details are usually on your order confirmation, your receipt, or their website.

If you're a business customer or retailer returning goods to a supplier

Contact your supplier or brand directly, for example your account manager or their customer service team. They manage their own claims portal, including which products and orders you can find there.

"Item not found" in the claims portal

If you can't find a product or order in a claims portal, the company running the portal decides what shows up in it. Before you contact them, check:

  • The order or delivery note number. Make sure it's typed exactly as it appears on your documents.

  • The item or article number. Try searching by item number instead of product name, or the other way round.

  • The right portal. Make sure you're using the portal of the company that sold you the product.

If the item still doesn't show up, contact that company and give them:

  • Your customer number

  • The order or delivery note number

  • The item numbers, sizes and quantities you want to return or claim

  • A short description of the issue

They can register the claim for you or tell you what to do next.
