What are the default shipping dimensions?
By default, shipping agreements use:
40 x 40 x 40 cm
These defaults can significantly increase price when the carrier calculates volumetric weight.
How to change the default shipping dimensions
You can change dimensions on each shipping agreement in your company shipping settings:
Go to Manage company
Open Shipping Agreements
Edit the relevant agreement under Weight, price and dimensions
Update the Length, Width, Height values to your desired defaults
Save, then generate a test label to confirm the new dimensions are being used
Tips / troubleshooting
Check which agreement is used: If you have multiple shipping agreements, make sure you updated the one actually used for label creation.
Dimensions vs weight: Even with smaller dimensions, actual weight can still push the price up, so verify both.
If you don't know dimensions: Some merchants set conservative "small parcel" defaults to avoid overpaying, but you should confirm this aligns with what you ship.
FAQ
